Jeff Shelby finally radioed in after several days of silence. It seems he's deep in the outback, on a cot under a mosquito net, delusional. We're not quite sure if he's going to make it. Malaria was a risk the expedition had to take, but no one expected it would...well, no, that's not true. If anyone was going to get it, Jeff was the one, right?
Anyway, as he lies there in a fever dream, mumbling about "Rosebud" and the Hills of Kilimanjaro like some low rent Hemingway hero, he was able to pull together the strength to send this stirring message of hope:
"HEY! Make sure to pick up Karen E. Olson's new tattoo shop mystery, The Missing Ink, out from Signet tomorrow. You won't be disappointed! It'll have you on pins and (tattoo) needles!"
So heed the words of our very sick, very determined colleague Jeff Shelby and find yourself a copy of The Missing Ink.
Psyched to read "The Missing Ink." Love the cover and looking forward to chatting w/ you tomorrow, Karen, over at the BN.com mystery group
Feel better, Jeff!

Get well soon, Jeff. Maybe reading Karen's new book will be the cure.
Congrats, Karen, and good luck with the sales.

Saw your interiew with John Valeri over at Examiner.com. Looks like Missing Ink will be a fun read! I love a cozy mystery and featuring a tattoo artist is brilliant!

Oh good! I'm going "off the rock" this weekend which means I can go to real bookstores. I hope I see Missing Ink prominently displayed so I can buy and read it. Congratulations, Karen!
